This season, we came back to the idea of quiet design. Clothes with purpose. Pieces that speak softly — through silhouette, through fabric, through the feeling they leave behind.

JAPANDI is our take on simplicity in motion. Inspired by the thoughtful restraint of Japanese design and the ease of Scandinavian living, this collection is built around clean lines, soft tailoring, and the kind of details that reveal themselves slowly.

We’ve worked with hand-dyed linens, airy organic cottons, and the softest cotton twill suede — fabrics that hold shape while moving with you. Our colour palette stays close to nature: Dusty Pink, French Blue, Vanilla, Mango, Light Sky Blue, and deep, grounding Navy Peony. Each tone chosen to calm, not crowd.

An old favourite returns — the Maggie Dress, reimagined this season with a stunning, one-of-a-kind Shibori dye. Each piece is completely unique, shaped by the traditional process of wringing, pressing, and folding the fabric by hand. The result is tonal, earthy, and full of movement — a quiet nod to centuries-old Japanese dyeing techniques, brought into the now.

At the heart of the collection are our signature silhouettes — timeless staples, reworked with a Boy & I twist. We take classic pieces and give them a playful, modern edge through proportion, shape, and bold detailing. White contrast topstitching, clean contrast binding, and our signature contrast stitching add a little something unexpected — playful, offbeat, and distinctly Boy & I.
